TOT SCHOOL

Today is September 9th, 2015, and we are starting "Tot School" for the very first time. We are feeling very settled now in Lloydminster, and Mark is back into the full swing of things with work. Thaddeus is 27-months-old, and tot school is simply going to be intentional reading and play-based learning. Mark (although a classroom teacher) and I are very interested in homeschooling. I don't know that we'll end up choosing that path, but as of right now it is certainly a possibility!

So what is "Tot School"? I'm not going to try and reinvent the wheel here, so if you'd like to know a bit more about what we're doing, head on over here where you can pretty much learn all you need to know!

*Update: (September 21, 2015) - I've been staying up way too late doing lots of research, and I'm looking into the Charlotte Mason method of homeschooling. This may or may not change the way we do things in Tot School, as I'd like to consider him in Year 0 of Charlotte Mason curriculum. A few adjustments here and there, and we'll keep on going! This is such a fun process!
